- The opening intro gag is of Tubb's hot dog shooting out of its bun as he attempts to eat it, which causes all the buildings to topple down.
- The way Mr. Jinks first acts towards being infected by disco fever, he does the dance associated with the music video for Michael Jackson's 1982 song "Thriller."
- This is the first Jellystone appearance of Cool Cat (No, not THAT ONE, or that one).
- When Captain Caveman is transformed he says he is becoming "super freaky" a reference to Rick James's 1981 song "Super Freaky."
- The K-pop outfits, dance moves, and song used are all based on K-POP group BTS. The song used is in reference to their 2020 single "Dynamite."
- The end credits is accompanied by the song "Hot Sauce."
