Behind the scenes

  • Max lists this as a season three episode.
  • The opening gag intro is of Undercover, Snooper, and Blabber knocking into Inch High, which causes Undercover to trip and topple into one of the buildings, which causes a domino effect.
  • Depending on whether the commercial can be trusted, this is the first animated appearance of Mrs. Conroy. She had previously appeared in comic book form in DC Comics' Future Quest.
  • Dr. Grandma's Itching Cream, which is a Biskitt Co. product, was actually a scam created by Top Cat in "Lotions 11."
  • The race is somewhat of a parody of Wacky Races and its spiritual successor Fender Bender 500, which acted as a segment of Wake, Rattle & Roll.
  • Snagglepuss and Mildew playing announcers is a reference to their roles in the Laff-a-Lympics TV series.
  • Mayor Huck removed the driver's license law.
  • Captain Caveman's car runs on dinosaurs acting as the engine part from within, with one bemoaning, "It's a living," which is what the dinosaurs who acted as appliances would say in The Flintstones TV series.
  • Yogi's vanity plate is "P1C-N1C."
  • Inch High's sigh seems unlikely it would've come from Fajer Al-Kaisi.
  • Captain Caveman's vanity plate is "ROK."
  • Now we know why it's called the Mud Bug Café.
  • Yogi believing he could be Shag's father, is something he actually did pretend to be in "Catanooga Cheese Explosion."
  • Sneezly's voice actor is uncredited.
  • The Soppy character Bernardo de Paula is supposed to play apparently refers to Lady Sockington.
  • Lady Sockington is Mildew's ex-wife, but despite being gay, Mildew seems like he still has feelings for her. It's unknown if he's actually bisexual or just experiencing internalized heteronormativity.
  • Lil' Honk Honks are a parody of Hot Wheels.
  • Captain Caveman throws Touché Turtle at Jabberjaw during the race, like how in the Mario Kart games, Koopa shells are used to hit opponents.
