Blabber Mouse, mostly just called Blabber, is an anthropomorphic detective mouse and the secondary main protagonist in the Snooper and Blabber animated television shorts. His partner is Super Snooper, and works for the Super Snooper Detective Agency. He was originally voiced by Elliot Field for four earlier produced cartoons,[1] but voiced by Daws Butler for later appearances until his death.

Character description

Blabber is a short grey mouse with a peach-colored snout. he wears a white trench coat, and a purple fedora with a black centre stripe.

He often idolizes his senior partner Snooper and never sees a fault in whatever he does, even to the point where he praises him when he falls into a blunder. Despite his enthusiasm, Blabber is prone to be incredibly naive, often being the fault of Snooper's mistakes due to him not following the most concise of orders. However, Snooper would sometimes be impressed by Blabber whenever his simple observations turn out to be true. His most distinctive trait is his pronounced lisp (in which he misarticulates his sibilants), hence he calls his senior partner "Shnooper" for example.

Although Snooper and Blabber are respectively a cat and mouse duo, they are otherwise working partners and are not at all enemies like most other pairs of this type.

In Jellystone!, Blabber is depicted as older looking with a beard stubble, and instead talks in a gruff New York accent without a lisp.
