Behind the scenes
- Between the wraparounds were episodes that alternated between new Coast to Coast and old Space Ghost episodes in the following order: "$20.01," "Zorak," "Transcript," "The Ovens of Moltor," and "Explode." Everything from the episodes and music videos (which are from Garbage's "Vow," Sonic Youth's "Diamond Sea," and Cartoon Planet's "Don't Touch Me") was technically seen, instead of being mentioned, depending whether or not you view them as part of the wraparounds.
- "Explode" was the only Coast to Coast episode that actually aired on TV before.
- The "meddling kids" line is what the villains say in Scooby-Doo after they've been caught.
- Zorak's mention of Jack Klugman is a reference to "Girlie Show."
- Moltar is watching his favorite show CHiPs.
Errors
- Space Ghost chastises Zorak for playing "It Smells Like Cartoon Planet" as if he was trying to make Cartoon Planet look bad, when they had already been playing another song from Cartoon Planet to begin with.
- "Explode" was the only episode to have aired before this special.
Legacy
- Further footage of the Thurston Moore interview is put to good use in "Sharrock."
- The "meddling kids" line was repeated in "Zorak."
