2012 revival.

Cartoon Planet is an American animated programming block that aired from 1995 to 1998, then from 2012 to 2014. It was produced by Cartoon Network Productions for TBS, before switching to Cartoon Network. It is the first spin-off to Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and the second spin-off from the Space Ghost segments from the 1960s.

The block involved Space Ghost, Zorak, and Brak hosting their own station filled with skits and programs that were owned by Cartoon Network. In the revival, Space Ghost was removed.

The original version had hour-long episodes before being edited to half-hour length for reruns.

In 2024, Andy Merrill guest starred as Brak in the Jellystone! episode "Space Con," referring to Cartoon Planet.

Connections to Space Ghost Coast to Coast

In the live show special Dark Side of the Ghost Planet Planetarium Tour, two of the songs used are "Smells Like Cartoon Planet" and "Don't Touch Me."

Space Ghost appeared from behind his desk from the set of Space Ghost Coast to Coast on the November 15, 1998 episode of the daytime talk show Donny & Marie, to plug the CD Space Ghost's Surf & Turf, with songs that actually come from the spin-off series Cartoon Planet.

Moltar mentions Cartoon Planet in the 1999 season six episode "King Dead."
