"Banjo" is the sixth episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast season one. It aired on September 10, 1994 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Chris Feresten and Matthew Maiellaro.

Zorak hypnotizes Space Ghost during his interviews with rapper Schoolly D and musician "Weird Al" Yankovic.

• At the beginning of the episode, Moltar watches The Banana Splits Adventure Hour.
• The Original Way Outs aren't announced and don't appear, but this will become a common occurrence.
• Zorak's incantation spell is the same one an alien speaks thirty years ago in "The Zanti Misfits," an episode of The Outer Limits.

Legacy

• The episode was retold through Kirk the Storyteller telling a story with Carl the Cartoonist's sketches in "Story Book House."
• In "Sleeper," Space Ghost says that Ted Turner wouldn't allow pets in the studio after what happened with Banjo.
• In "Freak Show," Commander Andy quotes the scene where Space Ghost killed Banjo.
