"$20.01" is the second episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast season three, and the twentieth overall. It aired on February 9, 1996 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Evan Dorkin and Sarah Dyer.
Space Ghost fires Moltar and Zorak for ruining his talk show and replaces them with a machine, but are they really the problem, or is it Space Ghost himself? His guests are magicians Penn & Teller (done separately), and Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator, Joel Hodgson--or Joel Robinson, as Space Ghost frequently calls him.

Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, which also has further parodies in the form of MOE 2000 being based on HAL 9000, as well as the ending.
- Joel refers to the film Batman Forever at the beginning of the episode.
- Interviewing those "awful Bee Gees" that Space Ghost refers to happened in "Elevator."
- Space Ghost mentions Benji, a fictional dog character who appears in a film series played by different dogs.
- In a tribute to Mystery Science Theater 3000, Space Ghost watches and mocks the Ultraseven episodes "Project Blue" and "The Man Who Came From V3."
- For the DVD this had to be replaced with scenes from Jay Edwards's short films collectively referred to as The Monster Trilogy.
- Before firing on MOE, Space says, "Forgive me, Banjo," who he also reluctantly killed in "Banjo."
- MOE 2000 is credited as technical advisor.
- Near the end credits, Zorak is heard again saying "Yahoo."
