An alternate ending was fully animated and recorded, where Raymond is about to show Zorak what life would be without him, but the Cartoon Network logo pops up, with the sounds of Zorak eating Raymond again, followed by Zorak's remark of "Angel food." The title card is also white letters on a green background.

It was copyrighted in 1997.

Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: August 29, 1997 on Cartoon Network

Behind the scenes

  • The "Here Is Your Life" presentation is a parody of the documentary series This Is Your Life. A similar parody also occurred on The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries episode "Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo."
  • The audio clip of Weird Al is taken from "Banjo."
  • Zorak breaks the fourth wall and mentions how nobody moves much in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.
  • On Moltar's monitor, he accesses episodes from Space Ghost and Dino Boy, which include "The Heat Thing," "The Worm People," and "Zorak," which we are shown a clip from.
  • Zorak says to Space Ghost, "I would've defeated you if it wasn't for those meddling kids, and that monkey," which is a paraphrase of what the villains say to Mystery Incorporated in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! (and other spin-offs).
  • Gag credits include Nathan Cook as Space Ghost's cook, and Michael Lazzo for shoes.
  • Special thanks are given to Hanna-Barbera, Weird Al Yankovic, UGA Dept. of Entomology, Peachtree Pest Control, Jay Edwards, Curtis Elder, Jay Bellissimo, and Pat Coddington.
  • Zorak makes a reference to the time during the 1980s when Ted Turner colorized black and white films he owned in Turner's library.
  • Zorak ate Raymond in "Hungry."
  • Raymond showing Zorak what the world would be without him is a parody of the 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life.
  • Banjo is in Heaven, who Space Ghost had to regrettably kill in "Banjo."

Errors

  • Raymond was also heard in the previous episode, "Speck," as having been secretly hidden away by Zorak.
