Terry Gene Bollea, better known in the ring as Hulk Hogan, is an American retired professional wrestler and television personality. He is widely regarded as the most recognized wrestling star worldwide and the most popular wrestler of the 1980s. His rise in fame was dubbed Hulkamania.

Hogan was interviewed by Space Ghost in the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Sleeper." A clip was reused in "$20.01."

He was also mentioned in the Yo, Yogi! episode "Super Duper Snag."

Behind the scenes

  • In 2010, Hogan sued Post Consumer Brands for defamation and exploiting his name without his permission after including a character called Hulk Boulder in its "Cocoa Smackdown" commercial. Incidentally, Hogan was previously called Hulk Boulder.
  • On November 14, 2014, WWE published a video on YouTube that featured Hulk Hogan announcing that he would be starring in Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon.[1] However, on July 24, 2015, he was terminated from the WWE Hall of Fame when his sex tape was made public, which included racist remarks by him. It should be noted that the problem seemed to be less about the fact that he was in a sex tape, and more about the fact that he was being racist with his remarks. Hogan apologized for his comments, and he was re-instated back into the WWE Hall of Fame on July 15, 2018.
    • It is unknown what kind of role Hogan would have had in the film and if he had actually recorded any lines at that point, or what his announcement was as far as his involvement went.
