Behind the scenes
- There are ads for Post's Cocoa Pebbles with Cocoasaurus Sprinkles, Quaker Oats' Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries Bars, Major League Baseball trading cards, Denny's 3-D cards, Tang, Mars' M&M's Minis, NFL clothing, Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme, Brach's Batman & Robin Fruit Snacks (based on the film Batman & Robin), Frito Lay's Chee-tos Crunch Nachos (with a maze game), and Post cereals carrying 3-D noggle-goggles.
- The first story is clearly a Magilla Gorilla one, but it's presented as a story from Cartoon Network Presents, although the front cover says Cartoon All-Stars.
- Pebbles and Dibble served in the Korea war together. Just go with it.
- Looks like Peebles is watching The Huckleberry Hound Show.
- The Secret Squirrel bit in the middle is an activity. Print it out and put it together!
- N-TV Unfettered is a parody of MTV Unplugged, a television musical showcase series that airs on MTV.
- The issue ends with a What's Up? article about animal behavior from Bronwyn Taggart, signed Bronwyn T.
- The letters page has a kid's picture of Augie Doggie.
Errors
- This comic places Pebbles Pet Shop in New York, right down the road from Hoagy's Alley.
- Spook is missing from Top Cat's gang. His absence could be explained by him happening to be behind the telephone poll.
- Officer Dibble has a balding spot underneath his hat, even though he is shown to have a full set of black hair a few times in the Top Cat TV series.
- Colonel Fuzzby's name is spelt Colonel Fusby.
- Breezly and Sneezly's name are spelt Breezely and Sneezely, respectively.
