Scooby-Doo, Where Are You Now! is an American live-action/animated mystery comedy prime-time television special celebrating the 52nd anniversary of the Scooby-Doo franchise. It aired on October 29, 2021 on The CW. It was written and directed by Jonathan Stern.
Mystery Inc. reunites at the old stomping grounds of their youth at neither Coolsville nor Crystal Cove, but at Warner Bros. Studios, where all their old mysteries had been filmed. While they reminisce about the good old days that were all just made for television, a real monster just happens to be skulking around the lot.
The story is interspersed with segments of interviews from individuals who have worked on an incarnation of Scooby-Doo and people who have worked in animation in general: "A Cultural Icon," "Designing Scooby," "Walking the Dog," "The Villains!," "Comedy Duo," and "The Unmasking."
