Drawn Together is an American adult animated series created by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein for Comedy Central. It ran from October 27, 2004 to November 14, 2007, spanning 36 episodes across three seasons. After it was canceled in 2006, a movie called The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! premiered on April 20, 2010, serving as the finale for the series.

The series follows a group of cartoon characters: Princess Clara, Xandir P. Wifflebottom, Foxxy Love, Captain Hero, Spanky Hamm, Wooldoor Sockbat, Ling-Ling, and Toot Braunstein living in a reality show like series. While some episodes do revolve around them doing challenges like an actual reality show, it's usually dropped halfway and they just do random stuff.

Each character is a caricature of a different cartoon character, most notably Foxxy, who is a parody of Valerie from Josie and the Pussycats. Since the series takes place in a cartoon world, It's no surprise that they parody Hanna-Barbera, as well as other cartoons.

Birdman

  • "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!:" Clara's attorney is none other than Harvey Birdman.

Droopy

  • "Clara's Dirty Little Secret:" Foxxy's audio book is narrated by Droopy.

Flintstones

  • "Hot Tub:" When Foxxy attacks Clara, Flintstones-type characters are driving a car resembling Barney's signature car outside the house.
  • "Gay Bash:" A pterodactyl works a record player made out of rock, saying, "It's a living."
  • "The Other Cousin:" When Wooldor starts hallucinating, he sees a giant sized Bamm-Bamm climbing the ceiling in a combo reference to the movie Trainspotting.
  • "A Tale of Two Cows:" Bedrock has been destroyed by Live Action Cow and all its residents were killed. As the gang passes by it, Clara says that they deserve it for constantly having a "gay old time". Also, when the gang passes by the city, everyone's feet can be seen powering the Foxy 5 van.
  • "Lost in Parking Space Part Two:" Fred is being brutally tortured at Hot Topic, crying out for Barney to help him. Fred is voiced by James Arnold Taylor, who was his current voice actor at the time.
  • "The One Wherein There Is A Big Twist Part II:" Wilma is interviewed as a potential roommate. She is kicked out after the gang finds out she uses a prehistoric worm as a tampon. The worm even says, "It's a living," which is what all the animal items would say in the original series. Wilma is voiced by Tara Strong.
  • The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!: Toot's story takes place in Bedrock. Barney, Betty, Dino and Bamm-Bamm all make cameos too. He is voiced by James Arnold Taylor.

Jetsons

  • "Hot Tub:" When Foxxy attacks Clara, a flying car flies overhead.
  • "Foxxy vs the Board of Education:" Elroy is one of the children captured by Hans. Also, a flying car is parked outside the church during Spanky's wedding.

  • "Toot goes Bollywood:" At the beginning of the episode, Foxxy is making love to Scooby, who she mistakes for Astro.

Jonny Quest

  • "Spelling Applebee's:" Upon removing his turban and jacket, Foxxy's nemesis is revealed to be an adult version of Hadji, with a new Mister T-like haircut.

Josie and the Pussycats

  • "Hot Tub:" A deleted scene that explained that Foxxy was part of a band called the Foxxy 5 that solved mysteries on the side. The members are of different ethnicities, unlike in "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact," where they are all Black like Foxxy.
  • "Clara's Dirty Little Secret:" When the housemates run away from Princess Clara's *clears throat* vagina tentacles, there are cutaways of Foxxy leading the housemates in a musical number.
  • "Foxxy vs the Board of Education:" Josie is one of the characters seen when Foxxy watches other mystery solving detectives. This is a jab at Foxxy being a parody of Valerie, another member of Josie and the Pussycats.

Powerpuff Girls

  • "Foxxy vs the Board of Education:" A pregnant Bubbles is in the waiting room.
  • "The One Wherein There Is A Big Twist Part II:" One of the resumes that the gang skims through includes what appears to be a partially covered Bubbles and a mashup of Blossom and Buttercup.

Scooby-Doo

  • "Hot Tub:" As mentioned above, a deleted scene revealed that the Foxxy 5 also solved mysteries.
  • "The One Wherein There's a Big Twist Part Two:" When Strawberry Sweetcake's plan is revealed, she yells "And I would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for that meddling schvoogie" referring to Foxxy, who exposed her plan to everyone else.
  • "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education:" Daphne is one of the TV detectives Foxxy watches. She unmasks a mummy at a carnival to reveal it is really a burn victim. Daphne is voiced by Cree Summer.
  • "Little Orphan Hero:" Foxxy and the other housemates get locked in place momentarily as they run away.
  • "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact:" The Foxxy 5 van is based on the Mystery Machine.
  • "Lost in Parking Space Part Two:" Scrappy-Doo is being brutally tortured at Hot Topic. He is voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
  • "Toot Goes Bollywood:" At the beginning of the episode, Foxxy is making love to Scooby, who she mistakes for Astro. He then turns down sex with Toot. Scooby is voiced by James Arnold Taylor.

Smurfs

  • "Hot Tub:" The housemates watch as two smurfs fight each other as knife-wielding pit fighters.
  • "Freaks & Geeks:" At the beginning of the episode, a smurf village is being decimated by Wooldoor's lawnmower.
  • The Draw Together Movie: The Movie!: While holding a funeral for Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy Smurf, and Hefty Smurf, are all run over by a carriage.

Snagglepuss

  • "Gay Bash:" Snagg is seen at Xandir's Gay Bash. However, his face is blurred out, similar to how reality shows will censor the faces of strangers.

Quick Draw McGraw

  • "Breakfast Food Killer:" A parody of Baba Looey called "Baba Booey" is seen in line jumping and attacking people while yelling "Baba Booey!"

Other

  • "A Tale of Two Cows:" When Live Action Squirrel with Big Balls is chased off, he makes the Hanna Barbera running sound effect.
