Powerpuff Girls is an animated franchise centered around the adventures and daily lives of the titular trio—Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup—who are created by their father Professor Utonium through a mixture of "sugar, spice, and everything nice," with an accidental dose of Chemical X. It is based on the television series of the same name, which originally aired on Cartoon Network from 1998 to 2005.
