Behind the scenes

  • During the production of Jetsons: The Movie, Waldo's voice was replaced with pop artist Tiffany in the hopes that her name would generate more interest in the film. Despite the change, some of Waldo's performance remains in the finished movie; likely as a mistake. Voice director Andrea Romano expressed that the executive decision was "a huge mistake on so many levels," and asked to have her name to be removed from the credits. Romano received a number of hate mail despite her stance on the casting change.[1]
    • Gordon Hunt, another voice director of the movie, reportedly asked Tiffany to sound more like Waldo.[1]
