Hello there, i'm Michael Kenchington and i'm from Ashington, Northumberland, UK and i was born on the 4th July 1986.

I must say that i like this Hanna-Barbera Wiki.

Let me the first to welcome you to this wiki (since I believe no one else is going to) my name is Sonic but I also go by Lexie. I'm still getting used to the wiki but I've been a editor for a few months now. Enjoy your stay and happy editing! --SonicExeP (talk) 21:17, 14 May 2022 (UTC)

Thank you very much. I'm so kind and helpful. --Michael (talk) 21:27, 14 May 2022 (UTC)

Are you interested in Marvel at all? If we had a sister MCU wiki, would you be interested in editing there? -- Signed by James (talk) 13:05, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Well, umm.... i don't know really. --Michael (talk) 13:30, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Never mind, it's not going to get approved anyway. I had an idea of transferring what I had on another site, but that all depended on whether or not Grifkuba agreed on it, which they did not. -- Signed by James (talk) 13:34, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Users category

I've added a Users category to my own user page, and added it to other not so active users, and was wondering if you could add this to your own user page, please? I could've easily just done it myself, but thought I would do you the courtesy of adding it yourself. -- Signed by James (talk) 08:55, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

I've added it. --Michael (talk) 18:24, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

Galleries

Thanks for adding the clothes images I've been uploading but haven't been adding myself. But when you add these images, can you add a tiny little description of what they're wearing, please, instead of just a copy/paste job of what I've said in the file description which isn't always reflective of what it should say in the gallery. My intention was to always give a little explanation of what the outfit/costume looked like to the reader. -- Signed by James (talk) 06:26, 1 September 2022 (UTC)

OK then MisterJames, no problem. --Michael (talk) 14:09, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Actor infoboxes

We will be merging the actor and production people infoboxes because it now makes more sense to have them merged then for them to be separated. -- Signed by James (talk) 12:36, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Ok then MisterJames, no problem. --Michael (talk) 13:04, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Comic pages

Please stop creating the comic pages, Michael. You're leaving the covers out, which we do have "SD AC 1.jpg", etc. It's just annoying that you leave basic things out, then tell me to include the mistakes which you can't do yourself. It's not hard to do it yourself. We have an errors section. It's all laid out for you. -- Signed by James (talk) 11:53, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

Whoa, sorry James. That was just an accident IMO. --Michael (talk) 12:40, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
And you still haven't added them. -- Signed by James (talk) 13:29, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
You also haven't done the new intro. You're copying from all the old style. I'm fine with you doing the pages (I'm not glory hogging this), if you can pay attention to the changes. And they're not hard to follow either. -- Signed by James (talk) 13:30, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
You may or may not be aware, that on the tools section at the left hand of the screen has a "What links here" link, which will show you if the comic links to a file of the cover. Alternate covers, how they should be covered are on pages like Space Ghost (Dynamite Entertainment)/Issue 1. -- Signed by James (talk) 13:32, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
I'm sorry that you've sounded a bit too harsh, James. BTW, do you have any plans to create the comic pages for the Hanna-Barbera series? --Michael (talk) 13:35, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing that out lol, I know I did. But I hope I was being reasonable with what I was saying, tho. And what Hanna-Barbera series are you referring to? -- Signed by James (talk) 17:23, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

Clarity regarding home media release dates

Michael, do you remember the last time you tried to confirm the release date for the Wait Till Your Father Gets Home Blu-ray? It might sound across as a bit of a shock but how you revealed it does raise a suspicion as to how you got it. Firstly, you told me and James that there was an "official confirmation" and didn't provide a source immediately, and on top of all that, you gave us a CBR page confirming just that when it alone can be found via a quick search on Blu-ray.com. How is it that you're not able to verify a source immediately when you announce it, Michael? Did you really forget that this was a top priority? If any, when was the last time you tried to announce a date of any physical media release with a backed source before this one?

I don't really want to sound this strict but if you please try to be transparent with what you're doing in terms of confirming release dates, you must verify it with a backed source; that includes verified websites such as Blu-ray.com, the Internet Animation Database and news articles. If you try to source from anything that is unverified, including small Fandom wikis like the Warner Home Video (UK) Wiki, then please ask us about it. James had been real hard to revamp the release dates for VHSes on the HB Wiki because they don't have a particular source to begin with; if the only confirmed thing about the date throughout several sources was just the year, then leave it as is.

If you're reading this, Michael, then don't take this as an attack on you for doing something minor just now. I don't want you to respond it as just a quick, half-baked apology and get away with it; I want you to respond in a way that is far more detailed, mature and responsible. What you did just now was only just a trivial mistake and this has only brought to my attention via James' DM at Discord. He simply told me that this was the last straw and I responded that maybe I would tell you to be more transparent next time. Of course, we both settled and James told me that trying to have you take a lesson from our pointers was a good thing instead of just moaning about it, so that's why I made this message.

And please don't call our names when announcing dates; it gets old real quick. It seems untrivial, but the way you have been writing stuff seems a bit robotic in my eyes. Do you have Autism? This seems like the sort writing pattern that I get from an individual like you, 'cause I've seen folks who sort of write like that.

With that said, I await you to not respond with a shallow plea. I await you to make a detailed response that is comparatively reasonable, and not so apologetic as you have been whenever we call out your mistakes. And please try harder when fact-checking on release dates.

Hope you'll learn from what I've said. -- QuestJ65 (talk) 21:02, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

Edit: Michael, have you responded to what I wrote earlier? It's been two days and I'm still waiting for you to make a detailed response in regards to some clarity. -- QuestJ65 (talk) 02:22, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
Yes QuestJ65, i do apologise. --Michael (talk) 04:47, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
But why did you apologize? You didn't do anything wrong. The only thing I have to point out is that you need to be more careful where to source any references to home media releases. All we needed is some transparency, verification from the staff and a clear goal, that's all. I'd expected you to write a detailed response, but this seems fine... for now at least. Just take my word and don't expect me to have a simple "thanks".-- QuestJ65 (talk) 06:41, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
