The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is an American live-action/animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The series originally aired on NBC, it ran from 1968 to 1969, airing 20 episodes that spanned one season.

The series followed Huckleberry Finn, and his friends, Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher who, after escaping from the clutches of Injun Joe through a cavern, end up stuck in an animated world full of dangers, in which they would usually run into a villain with malicious intentions.

The entire series has been released on DVD.

On June 28, 2016, the Warner Archive Collection released a 3-disc DVD set of the series called The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: The Complete Series.

Reading material

On September 26, 1968, Gold Key Comics published a one-shot comic The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn #1, adapting the episode "The Curse of Thut," which actually came out three months before the episode.
