"Riddle of the Gold" is the fifth episode of Jonny Quest season one. It aired on October 16, 1964 on ABC. It was written by Herbert Finn and Alan Dinehart, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

While investigating a bar of fake gold from a supposedly exhausted Indian mine, Doctor Quest discovers an alchemist counterfeit ring — conceived by his nemesis, Doctor Zin, and operated from the palace of an impostor Maharaja — that could bring damage to the global financial market.
