Bear Hug is the forty-second animated theatrical short of the Loopy De Loop series. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures on March 5, 1964. It was written by Michael Maltese and was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Loopy, under the company name of Have Will Charm... Propose helps Braxton, who has a mad crazy jealous streak to win over his girlfriend, Emmy Lou.
