"Intro" is the twenty-second episode of Teen Titans Go! season eight, and the three hundred and eighty-seventh overall. It aired on September 23, 2023 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Morgan Evans, directed by James Krenzke, and voice directed by Lisa Schaffer.
Control Freak, obsessed with putting an end to the Teen Titans in their Go! forms, traps them in their intro, so that they may never start their show and finally save the reputation of the much loved 2003 Teen Titans incarnation.
Detailed summary
The episode begins with the characters running on screen to start the theme song, even though they are aware they have just finished it. They are unclear about what is happening, but they follow the script, regardless. As they get into it, they reach the dancing scene where Control Freak joins them. Due to Control Freak's special TV remote control, he can trap the Titans in their own intro, preventing the episode from properly starting, in his never ending mission to end the series, as he believes it is an insult to the original version from 2003. Robin orders the Titans to get the remote from Control Freak, and as they chase him through their own title sequence, Control Freak opens up a portal into another classic title sequence...
The Titans arrive in none other than the title sequence to The Flintstones, arriving in the house of the Flintstones in the "modern Stone Age." Fred is about to leave work and drive home, where he meets the Titans who greet him by tieing him up and stealing his car to continue chasing Control Freak, who is also pedaling a wooden car with his feet. The Titans aren't having an easy time driving the Flintmobile, so Raven helps them out by transforming into Lady Legasus and takes over, where she follows Control Freak to the drive-in movie. Having trouble finding Control Freak among all the other cars, Beast Boy transforms into a dinosaur and pops his head through the roof to get a better view, spotting Control Freak while he lets his guard down and watches the movie. Cyborg grabs some dinosaur ribs to throw at Control Freak, which lands on his car, toppling him over. Control Freak then escapes to the next intro sequence to The Jetsons.
In The Jetsons intro, the Titans materialize inside George's flying car. Robin pushes George aside, Cyborg takes his wallet for parking money, and then Raven puts the entire family in a pod and ejects them from the car, sending them to the mall. The Titans spot Control Freak, and are about to pursue him, but Cyborg has trouble flying, accidentally transforming the car into a briefcase, filing cabinet, toilet, and toaster, before transforming back to a car where they crash through Skypad Apartments where the Jetsons live. They accidentally get Rosie stuck on the dome top. Cyborg starts flirting, but Robin swats her off with a windshield wiper, sending her plummeting to the ground below. The Titans catch up with Control Freak, and Raven sends Robin into a pod to crash into Control Freak's car, which causes Control Freak to lose control and crash outside Mr. Spacely's building. Control Freak opens up another portal in the entrance where he and the pursuing Titans travel to their next destination.
They arrive in the title sequence of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Cyborg is excited, but Robin warns them that this intro is riddled with traps, so they must be careful, only for Beast Boy to immediately pull on a lever, which knocks (the other) Fred backward while sitting in a chair and through the wall that has just slide away. While sneaking around, the Titans get scared, and interrupt Mystery Incorporated during their investigation, asking them if they have seen Control Freak. Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire get distracted by eating stacks of sandwiches, which Robin chastises them for, and they agree, only for them to get into a barrel of ice cream, creating a mess that Scooby gets a part of. Robin orders them to stop and throws the barrel away which drops onto Scooby. Scooby runs away in confusion and into Charlie the robot. The Scooby Gang and Titans run away in fear, but Raven remembers that the monsters are supposed to be fake, so the Titans stop running and Robin uses his staff to trip Charlie, who goes flying and knocks his mask off, revealing him to really be Control Freak. Control Freak acts like a typical defeated culprit, only for him to quickly change his mind, put his mask back on, and use the remote again, which transports them all to the intro to Batman: The Animated Series, and then lastly Teen Titans (neither of which we will be covering).
Memorable quotes
Control Freak: (to the Titans) Yabba-dabba-doo, losers!
Titans: Control Freak!
Control Freak: And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for--Oh, who am I kidding, I still can.

Behind the scenes
- The episode's title card is at the beginning of the end credits instead of appearing after the opening title sequence.
- The in-joke of the 2003 Teen Titans TV series being beloved isn't true at all, as that had its own hating fanbase who only now look back on the former with fondness because Teen Titans Go! is even worse in comparison, represented through Control Freak.
- Using feet as a car's pedals is poked fun at, by having Beast Boy and Starfire say they have a cramp and blisters, respectively.
- Cyborg flirting with Rosie is a reference to when it was revealed that his first kiss was apparently with her in "The Bergerac."
- The following changes are made to the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! intro:
- "What the Hex Going On?:" The Titans stick their heads out of the secret moving bookcase instead of Elias Kingston.
- "What the Hex Going On?:" Beast Boy pulls the lever which causes Fred to fall back into a trap wall.
- "What a Night for a Knight:" The Scooby Gang looks up at the screen after finding a clue from a book in the library, only this time it is in the Kingston Mansion.
- "Foul Play in Funland:" The cotton candy that Scooby licks off his face is actually ice cream Beast Boy accidentally flung at him.
- "Foul Play in Funland:" Robin is the reason Scooby has a barrel over his head, causing him to accidentally run into Charlie. Also, Scooby inexplicably jumps from being inside the mansion to outside at the amusement park.
- Velma says "Jinkies" once.
- Shaggy says "Zoinks" once; Robin also says "Zoinks."
- Jeff Bergman is uncredited as George, although George only yells, and not a very distinct one either.
Errors
- The The New Scooby-Doo Movies theme song plays over the title sequence of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, instead of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" itself, presumably because the producers couldn't secure the rights to the song, which are owned by David Mook and Ben Raleigh. The same problem also occurred when the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated producers couldn't use "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" in the end credits of the last episode, "Come Undone."
- Originally, Charlie the robot was in fact a robot, not a guy in a costume.
- Background artist is listed as plural, but there is only one person credited.
