In Christianity, God is the creator of the planet Earth and Adam and Eve, the first two perfect humans who were to populate the planet, but committed sin when they followed the advice of Satan, in eating God's forbidden fruit. As punishment, they were made imperfect, and in turn all their offspring for generations to come. In that time, God has assisted people he has viewed worthy of and supported his cause in order to guide humanity to a perfect world again, such as Noah, Moses, Daniel, Jonah, even sending his only son, Jesus, to Earth, in the undying hope that Satan doesn't lead anyone else astray.
