Captain Planet and the Planeteers[Note 1] is an American ongoing comic book series by Dynamite Entertainment who will begin publishing in 2025. It is based on the 1990s Captain Planet and the Planeteers animated television series.
Production
On July 26, 2023, Dynamite Entertainment announced they would publish a new comic series based on the property,[1] with the first issue announced on January 21, 2025 for an April 23rd target date. There would be at least five other issues, with a special connecting set of covers for the first six issues by Jae Lee and June Chung.[2]
