"Intro" is the twenty-second episode of Teen Titans Go! season eight, and the two-hundredth and three hundredth and eighty-seventh overall. It aired on September 23, 2023 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Morgan Evans, directed by James Krenzke, and voice directed by Lisa Schaffer.

Control Freak, obsessed with putting an end to the Teen Titans in their Go! forms, traps them in their intro, so that they may never start their show and finally save the reputation of the much loved 2003 Teen Titans incarnation.

Crew credits

Release

Dates are in order of release:

Behind the scenes

  • The title card of the episode is at the beginning of the end credits instead of appearing after the opening title sequence.
  • The in-joke of the 2003 Teen Titans TV series being beloved isn't true at all, as that had its own hating fanbase who only now look back on the former with fondness because Teen Titans Go! is even worse in comparison, represented through Control Freak.
  • Using feet as a car's pedals is poked fun at, by having Beast Boy and Starfire say they have a cramp and blisters, respectively.
  • Cyborg flirting with Rosie is a reference to when it was revealed that his first kiss was apparently with her in "The Bergerac."
  • Velma says "Jinkies" once.
  • Shaggy says "Zoinks" once; Robin also says "Zoinks."
  • Jeff Bergman is uncredited as George, although George only yells.

Errors

  • Instead of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" theme song playing over the title sequence of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, the producers use the theme song to The New Scooby-Doo Movies. But this is presumably because they couldn't afford the rights to the song, which are owned by David Mook and Ben Raleigh. The same problem occurred when the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated producers couldn't use "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" in the end credits of the last episode, "Come Undone."
  • Originally, Charlie the robot was in fact a robot, not a guy in a costume.
  • Background artist is listed as plural, but there is only one person credited.
