Dates are in order of release:

Behind the scenes

  • The episode title is a reference to the first season episode "Switcheroo." The title card of this episode also refers to it as "Switcheroo," as does the DVD, but the HBO Max streaming service refers to this episode as "Switcheroo '97" to firmly distinguish them from each other.
  • Moltar mentions the TV series Babylon 5, Twilight Zone, and Bewitched.
  • Zorak also mentions the TV series Lost in Space (that Hanna-Barbera also turned into a cartoon), and Space Cases. Zorak also puts on a mask resembling Gowron, a Klingon from Star Trek: The Next Generation. He references to Worf being dishonored, which happened in the episode "Sins of the Father."
  • There is a lot of talk about the Star Wars film series due to guest Mark Hamill.
  • Moltar says "This is CNN," in allusion to James Earl Jones's time as an announcer for CNN.
  • Space Ghost mentions the film Ghostbusters.
  • Gag credits include Nathan Cook as Space Ghost's secretary and Michael Lazzo for gloves.
  • Special thanks are given to Hanna-Barbera, Jay Edwards, Kellie Raiford, and intergalactic bounty hunter, Boba Fett.
  • Adult Swim skips this episode on their website.
