Template:Infobox actor Melvin Jerome "Mel" Blanc was an American voice actor. For Hanna-Barbera, he was best known as the voice of Barney Rubble, Dino, Mr. Spacely, Secret Squirrel, Speed Buggy, and Captain Caveman!

Blanc died on July 10, 1989, at the age of 81. Jetsons: The Movie, one of his last roles, was dedicated to him.

Before working for Hanna-Barbera, Blanc made a prolific career on The Jack Benny Program (in both its radio and TV forms), and as the voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and most of the other characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoons. He was also both Tom and Jerry in MGM's 1960s theatrical shorts, Twiki in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Heathcliffe the cat in the DIC incarnation.
