The Hanna-Barbera series ridiculed in this episode is Magilla Gorilla.

An animal activist group takes Mr. Peebles to court over the freedom of Magilla Gorilla.

Harvey's laptop has a pear-shaped logo in reference to Apple computers.
Harvey's calendar says January. It appears to be the same one shown before with Victoria Principal's birthday noted.
Stewie, Fooey, and Spewie are a parody of the Disney duck triplets, Louie, Dewie, and Hewey.
Out of the three, Edgerly is only credited as Fooey.
