Choo Choo, nicknamed "Chooch" by Top Cat and his gang, is an anthropomorphic cat and a main character in the Top Cat TV series. His voice was originated by Marvin Kaplan.

Character description

Choo Choo is a tall, pink cat with an angular face. He has slanted eyes and a peach snout. His tail is fluffy and has black tip at the end. Choo Choo also wears is a white turtleneck sweater with long sleeves. He also speaks in a soft Brooklyn accent.

At his core, Chooch is an enthusiastic follower of Top Cat's gang. One unique trait is that he exhibits is that he has a sensitive, child-like compassion towards the gang, and shows great lengths to support his leader. Despite his loyalty towards Top Cat, he usually jumps to conclusions and is very unaware of his eccentric motives. He is also a hopelessly romantic, often showing anxiety whenever he tries to go on a date, and even has his own insecurities when doubting on his potential mates, who are either too rich, famous, pretty, or all of the above for him. Although Choo Choo is generally a nice person, he has shown sarcasm at some points, and isn't completely immune to anger; probably the most outspoken about his frustrations, if not T.C.

In the HBO Max series Jellystone!, Choo Choo is a girl who, in spite of her friendliness, has a tough attitude. She also has a thicker accent.
