"A Visit from Mother" is the ninth episode of Top Cat season one. It aired on November 22, 1961 on ABC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of the series and the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

After Benny writes a letter to his mother, Mrs. Ball, that he is the Mayor of New York, Top Cat and his gang help him to convince her into thinking the he is really the Mayor. But not long after they take Officer Dibble's car, the gang are chased by none other than the officer himself.
