Cartoon Network Presents Issue 2 is a comic published by DC Comics on July 18, 1997. It was written by Matt Wayne and Sam Henderson, and drawn by oe Brozowski, Bill Agler, Bob Smith, Trish Mulvihill, Rick Taylor, Pat Brosseau, Phil Felix, George Pratt, and Kevin Somers.

Detailed summary

In one of Space Ghost's shows, the titular host begins by introducing singer Tori Amos to the audience. However, only static comes out of the screen, prompting him to demand Moltar about her whereabouts. It turns out that the static in question is dead air, and Space Ghost—along with Zorak and Brak—are left with no choice but to wait for the signal to come back. While waiting, Space Ghosts brings out a new segment that he calls "Rainy Day Fun;" where the audience is given a game or activity to play in the meantime.

Brak goes first by bringing out a "game" called Are You My Mother? In it, he would point at a random thing in each round, and prompt the viewers (or readers) to ask "are you my mother?"; if any of these things says yes, they go with "mommy" for some corn beef.

Zorak also has a game of his own, titled Chicago Hope. While demonstrating its rules, he jumps out of his seat, pokes Space Ghost's eye, and hot wires the Phantom Cruiser so it can fly to Chicago. Unfortunately for him, his scheme gets caught by Space Ghost, and he is then sent back to his position at Ghost Planet.

Moltar goes next with a game called "Stomp and Sniff". He presents it with a simple premise: stomp some day-old milk cartons and smell them. Moltar is then prompted by Tori Amos, whose signal for the show is now working on-air. While Space Ghost, Brak, and Zorak are having a small chat about the word "poop", Moltar announces that it was Alanis Morissette who was jamming the signal.

With Tori now in the show, Space Ghost introduces his own game titled "Hide-And-Seek the Teen Sidekicks". In it, Space Ghost explains its rules; by first telling Jace and Jan to go hide somewhere, then turning invisible and counting to one hundred. After finishing his counting on-air, Zorak asks if the next step is hunting down a prey. Space Ghost denies this, exclaiming that the last step is to ditch his friends and get a talk show... And that's about it, really...

With that out of the way, Space Ghost ends his show.

Errors

• Zorak wears a red suit instead of a blue one like in the comic's cover, but given that he switches color schemes sporadically in Space Ghost Coast to Coast (as a result of reused footage from different episodes), it seems rather fitting.
• The Phantom Cruiser is a bluish-silver instead of yellow.
• Vladimir could have shaven his beard if he went back to society and returned as a park ranger.
