The All-New Super Friends Hour,[Note 1] also known as Super Friends, is an American animated superhero television series produced by Hanna-Barbera and DC Comics for ABC's Saturday morning line-up. It ran in 1977, airing a total of 15 episodes that spanned one season. It was the second Super Friends series after the original 1973 series of the same name.
In a continuation of the aforementioned show, the Super Friends are joined by Zan and Jayna, junior superheroes with actual superpowers (unlike the Junior Super Friends), along with their pet monkey, Gleek, and a slew of guest heroes such as Apache Chief and Black Vulcan.
The episodes are divided into multiple segments, which follow a basic format each week. The first segment feature two of the heroes teaming up in a mini story. The second are a spotlight of the Wonder Twins, who are summoned to help out teenagers engaging in dangerous behavior. The third is a "primary" segment of the week, featuring all of the Super Friends (including the Wonder Twins) in a longer adventure, alongside a special guest star. Additionally, there is a series of additional short spots that appear in between segments, with the main cast giving basic safety lessons, basic health and first aid advice, magic tricks, craft projects, and a two-part riddle of each episode.
The entire series has been released on DVD and Blu-ray.

- In 2006, the Adult Swim website parodied the Wonder Twins segments as a short-form series The New Adventures of the Wonder Twins, with "Joy Ride," "Initiation," and "Drag Race" being direct adaptations.
In popular culture
- The final scene of the Clerks: The Animated Series episode "Leonardo Leonardo Returns and Dante Has an Important Decision to Make," is a spoof of the safety tips introduced in this Super Friends series, confirmed by Kevin Smith in the DVD audio commentary for the episode.
- In the Family Guy episode "Family Goy," the show's intro is spoofed with Peter as Superman, Lois as Wonder Woman, Brian as Batman, Stewie as Robbin, and Chirs as Aquaman. Meg, who doesn't have a particular spotlight in the intro, is seen standing in the living room in place of the Wonder Twins and Gleek.
