The Powerpuff Girls

The Mayor of Townsville, also known as simply Mayor, is a supporting character in the Powerpuff Girls animated franchise. He is the executive head of Townsville's government at the city hall and acts as the city's leader, in spite of his clueless personality. His voice was originated by Jim Cummings, although it is better remembered by his successor, Tom Kenny.

His main role is to call the Powerpuff Girls when a crisis occurs at the city. He largely relies on his secretary and personal assistant, Ms. Sara Bellum, to do the majority of the work around the place.

  • In the Sugar and Toys episode "Revenge of the Nerfs," there is a segment called "Las Powderpoof Girlz," featuring the Mayor appears as Mayor DeBlah, who is just as scatterbrained as his template, who is literally in the palm of the hands of the Flavorless Gang, approving of them sucking Earth dry of its spices leaving the planet bland of flavor.
