IDW Publishing, also known simply as IDW, is an American comic book publisher owned by Idea and Design Works, LLC. It is known for having licenses to adapt movies, television shows, video games, and cartoons. It had a very profitable relationship with Hasbro from 2005 to 2022, publishing The Transformers, My Little Pony, and G.I. Joe. Other franchises include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Nickelodeon, The X-Files, Star Trek, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doctor Who, and various others.
