The Lasso of Truth is a primary weapon used by Wonder Woman in the Super Friends franchise. It is a magical golden rope that forces anyone captured within it to obey the wielder's commands and tell the truth.

• Psychologist William Moulton Marston, who created the character of Wonder Woman, was also involved in inventing an early prototype of the lie detector, which may have inspired the creation of the Lasso of Truth.
