Detailed summary
Memorable quotes
George: Elroy! I told you not to fly in the house. Just look at that wall.
Elroy: It's okay, Pop. I'm wearing my crash helmet.
George: And why weren't you at school?
Elroy: Because it's Saturday.
George: S-Saturday? Now what am I doing up so early if it's Saturday?
Elroy: Well, you said that today's the day you're going to buy a new car, Pop!
Judy: Why, Daddy! When did you learn to cook?
George: When I was a Boy Rocket scout, one of our tykes was in charge of the frozen dinners, and-
Jane: George, you're still in charge of the frozen dinners. Your food isn't cooked.
Elroy: Pop didn't set the timer!
George: Elroy!
Judy: It's okay. I'm on a diet, anyhow.
George: Y'know, I feel like we just attended a board meating!
Jane: Don't be ridiculous, George. Why must be husbands always make fun their wives driving?
George: It helps to hold down the panic.
Jane: Well, if that's the way you feel about it, here. You take over it.

Aftermath
When The Jetsons originally aired, no title cards were present. They were only added when the series was revived in 1985, and the original episodes were given title cards for consistency when they were all packaged together for The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera. Notably, they all include Orbitty, who wasn't in the original series.
Music
The music was composed and conducted by Hoyt Curtin.

Errors
- When talking through the visaphone, Jane still has to tell George it's her, but this may have be done as a joke more than anything else.
