  • The episode title, along with the story itself, is a parody of the 198 7 film Predator.
  • At the start of the episode, Captain Murphy is flipping thru episodes of The Brak Show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast ("Kentucky Nightmare"), and Aqua Teen Hunger Force; incidentally, they are all in reality on the same channel.
  • A gag credit is Mike Lazzo as Melvis Lazlo.
