In popular culture

• Funny or Die released a four-part live-action sketch called Captain Planet with Don Cheadle (also known as Don Cheadle is Captain Planet), in which Captain Planet turns against humanity by turning them into trees, which includes the Planeteers, except for Ma-Ti, who turns him into his servant until Ma-Ti turns against him, and then suffers the same fate.
