Behind the scenes

  • This is the last episode of the series to open with a narration from Captain Planet (formerly by Kwame) of what the show is about, being replaced in the next season with an obnoxious rap by Fred Schneider.
  • Wheeler, Linka, Ma-Ti, Gi, and Kwame get into the studio by disguising themselves as mucky versions of Fred Flintstone, Wilma Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Betty Rubble, and Dino, respectively, from The Flintstones TV series.
  • One of the sets at the studio resembles the buildings in The Jetsons TV series.
