Detailed summary
Memorable quotes
Narrator: The City of Townsville.
Mayor: (echoing) I have a dream!
Narrator: A city of growth and prosperity.
Mayor: (echoing) Of the people, for the people, and by the people!
Narrator: A city run by one man.
Mayor: (echoing) That we, the citizens of Townsville…
Narrator: A man of strength and integrity.
Mayor: (echoing) …promise to uphold the virtues of our city.
Natrator: Yes, this city. Our city. Run by… The Mayor!
Mayor: And furthermore… Ich bin ein Townsviller!!
(Ms. Bellum claps her hands in applause)
Ms. Bellum: Uh, that was quite a speech, Mayor. But why did you even bother writing it? No one is running against you. No one ever does…
Mayor: Oh, my dear girl! If George Washington used snails instead of greyhounds to pull his sled, there'd be no trees for Honest Abe to shove from the highest mountain.
Mayor: Vote for Mayor for Mayor!
Fuzzy: Bel-LUM!!
Ms. Bellum: (over the intercom) Yes, Mayor…
Fuzzy: Scoot yer purdy lil' self in there, and let's take a gander at you!
Ms. Bellum: Do I have to?
Fuzzy: I said… sco-OOT!!
(Ms. Bellum comes over with a backwoods uniform; Fuzzy does a whistle upon seeing her)
Ms. Bellum: Charming… Is there anything else I can do for you, Mayor?
Fuzzy: Whaaat!?
Ms. Bellum: (sighs, then adopts a Southern drawl) Well… Howdy, yer Fuzziness. Is thar anything else Ah can dew fer ye?
Fuzzy: Hoo doggie, I likes that!
Narrator: Ha ha ha! Mayor, you've always got my vote. And, so once again, the day is saved, thanks to the Powerpuff Girls! (Southern accent) Y'all come back now, hear?

Behind the scenes
- The Mayor's campaign speech is a combanation of several popular speeches in American history, which include Martin Luthur King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream", Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysberg Address", and a parody of John F. Kennedy's "Ich bin ein Berliner".
- Although the Mayor's wife called him Barney in "Boogie Frights," this episode makes the decidedly conscious decision of referring to the Mayor as just the Mayor.
