- The episode title is a reference to The Bangles' 1986 song "Manic Monday."
- The Narrator specifically refers to Mojo's lair as Townsville Volcano Mountain.
- Mojo's helmet is lowered down over his bare brain in a similar fashion to how Darth Vader's helmet was lowered over his head in the 1980 film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
