Behind the scenes
- Adult Swim's website skips this episode.
- After the recap, the episode opens up as the opening theme music to Charlie's Angels would.
- Even though he's not supposed to be there, Moltar switches his monitor onto the episodes "Freak Show," "President's Day Nightmare," and "Surprise," with Commander Andy in his bedroom, Craig McCracken celebrating in his swimsuit, and Judy Tenuta playing her accordion, respectively.
- The scene with Creature King is recycled footage from the Space Ghost episode "The Space Ark."
- The announcer is a parody of the announcer from the TV series Dragnet, which is most evident in the ending when he says that the names have been changed to protect the innocent, except it was in the opening for Dragnet.
Errors
Everlasting influence
- Following this episode's airing, the scene where Metallica makes up a song was derided on E!'s Talk Soup.[1]
