"Late Show" is the twelfth episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast season three, and the thirtieth overall. It aired on October 23, 1996 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Spike Feresten and Steve O'Donnell.

To boost ratings, Space Ghost Coast to Coast reformats itself to become a Late Show with David Letterman rip-off. Good thing that they have two of their writers to give it some authenticity.

Behind the scenes

  • The series is given a new CGI opening, which apparently not everyone liked. It was explained in the audio commentary for "Cookout," that they probably reused it to make their money's worth, but was eventually removed by the next season as they knew Coast to Coast was its own identity and didn't need to "piggyback" on David Letterman.
  • Keith Crofford, Spike Ferestein, Steve O'Donnell, and Janeane Garofalo provide audio commentary for this episode on DVD releases.
