Jellystone!

Augie Doggie is an anthropomorphic dog and one of the main title characters in the Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy television shorts. He is a highly-spirited, yet rambunctious child, and in many of his misadventures, his main goal is to impress his father, Doggie Daddy, through ambitious means. His voice was originated by Daws Butler.

In the Jellystone! reboot, Augie is now an 11-year-old girl,[1] and when not dealing with her overprotective father, she hangs out with her two best friends, Yakky Doodle and Shag Rugg. Augie is voiced by Georgie Kidder in this version.

Character description

Augie Doggie is a young orange dog with a long snout and black ears, most likely that of a Dachshund breed. His main attire consists only of a green long-sleeved sweater.

The son of Doggie Daddy, he is an energetic, inquisitive youngster always motivated by ambition and to explore the world around him. He has a youthful enthusiasm towards many things, and his knack for asking the most innocent of all questions, or doing seemingly helpful tasks like inviting animals to their home, often puts Doggie Daddy on the spot. His imaginative ambitions would occasionally be strained by his father's sometimes strict advice, although these were usually pushed aside once Doggie Daddy accepts his requests unwittingly. He posseses some knowledge in science and has the ability to converse with other animals. Augie, who usually shows his love to Doggie Daddy, would often refer to him as "dear old Dad."
