The Tom and Jerry Show is an American animated slapstick comedy TV series produced by Warner Bros. Animation and Renagade Animation for Cartoon Network, although it was handed over to the Boomerang SVOD halfway through, and then even that was too hard to keep up with, so it ended up being handed over yet again to Cartoon Network Video. It ran from 2014 to 2021, airing 117 episodes that spanned five seasons. It is the fifth Tom and Jerry series after the first series to also be called The Tom & Jerry Show.
It is a modern adaptation of the MGM Tom and Jerry theatrical shorts, but not so "This is the 21st century" blatant treatment that Tom and Jerry Tales got. There are several settings Tom and Jerry are put in to keep things interesting, such as a regular suburban one, Tom and Jerry are detectives, Tom is owned by two witches, one where Jerry is a lab rat, Tom is owned by a German couple in a Van Helsing-type world, and one where Tom works in a Downton Abbey-style house.
