"Counting Sheep" is the third and final part of episode seven of The Tom and Jerry Show season four, and the two hundred and twenty-ninth episode overall. It aired on March 5, 2021 on Boomerang's SVOD service. It was written by Mina Hess, and directed by Darrell Van Citters.
As the cat and mouse detectives, Tom and Jerry investigate who's been rustling the missing sheep.

Behind the scenes
- Dixie Wolf was an antagonist of Droopy in his series of MGM theatrical shorts, and also starred in his own spin-off short, Billy Boy. Dixie Wolf was originally voiced by the late Daws Butler.
- Lil Bo Peep's model was also based on the "Ma" character (Droopy's wife) in the another Droopy short called Homesteader Droopy.
