Detailed summary

Memorable quotes

Urkel: Hey, you're those famous teenage mystery-solvers. I'm a huge fan. Fred, you caught the Beast of Swamptown. Daphne, you trapped the Monster of Creepstown. Velma, your glasses correct your lazy eye and your astigmatism. Shaggy, you wear a green shirt. And, Scooby, you're a dog!
Scooby: Whoah! He knows everything about us.
Urkel: You're legends, and I'd love you to help me find my robot!

Janitor: And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and super-nerd Steven Quincy Urkel!
Urkel: That's my name. Don't wear it out.

Release

Dates are in order of release:

Behind the scenes

  • With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Velma this time.
  • When Scooby dips his head in the Volcano Scooby Snacks jar, he comes out with a hat and Scooby Snacks arranged in such a way that he evokes Scooby-Dum, his cousin from The Scooby-Doo Show and Laff-a-Lympics.
  • Scooby was bribed with one Scooby Snack.
  • Shaggy says "Zoinks" twice.
  • Daphne says "Jeepers" once.
  • The museum director is reminiscent of Carl Winslow, the patriarch in Family Matters.
  • The Technomancer's design is lifted straight from the Phantom Shadow/Green Ghost from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "A Night of Fright Is No Delight."
  • Interestingly enough, Scooby-Doo already existed in Family Matters, as Urkel mentioned he had a pair of Scooby-Doo slippers in the episode "Skip to My Lieu," when Jaleel White could perform a much more convincing portrayal as Urkel. Scooby-Doo was also mentioned again in "Musket Love," when the girl Eddie was talking to said that his sister told her he slept with a Scooby-Doo night light.

Errors

  • Shaggy says he and Scooby are eating Volcano Hot Scooby Snacks, but the jar just says "Volcano Snacks."
