Steven Quincy "Steve" Urkel, better known as Urkel, is the celebrity guest star character in "When Urkel-Bots Go Bad!," an episode of the Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? animated television series. He is voiced by Jaleel White.
White reprises his role as Urkel from the '90s live-action sitcom Family Matters, which aired on ABC for eight seasons, before moving to CBS for its ninth and final season. While White had played Urkel from his early teens to young adulthood in the series, the cartoon incarnation restores him back to his teenage form. Urkel was added in the middle of season one before the series found its own footing, where he became a breakout hit among viewers of the decade. Family Matters would then slowly be restructured around him, so the fact that he's the only one to appear in cartoon form should come as no surprise. The robot that he created, Urkel-Bot, also appeared in Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?
