Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on "Octagon." You're welcome.
- The face of the octopus monster resembles Steve from "Super Zeroes."
Errors
- The seating arrangement in the classroom changes as follows:
- In the close up of the students' first appearances, it is Clara Elmer, two unnamed kids, and Bubbles which after a zoom out of the camera, it is changed to Clara, Mitch, Bubbles, Kristen, and Harry.
- The Professor sticks Octi's tentacle back into its body as if it was just a plastic toy.
- Mojo's plan of holding Octi ransom for Chemical X is undone by the fact that Mojo could already create his own Chemical X (as well as Antidote X) in "Mo Job."
