"Batmantis" is the eighth episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast season one. It aired on September 30, 1994 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Matthew Maiellaro.

Space Ghost hosts a Batman reunion of sorts when he interviews Batman himself Adam West, and the two Catwomen Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt. Unfortunately during these interviews, Moltar has been kidnapped by Your Mother, and the stars prove to be unwilling and/or unable to help out. Zorak, however, rises to the occasion by becoming Batmantis.

Production

Development

This was the eighth episode to produce.

Filming

It was copyrighted in 1994.

Aftermath

West didn't have a sense of humor while filming except when plugging his book, which he only brought the slipcover to show. The crew allowed him to even though they didn't like the idea because the book would have no relevance in the years after the episode aired.

A couple of months after the episode did air, West spotted the crew at a comic book convention, where he proceeded to walk up to their booth, paused, and glared at them before moving on.[1]

Music

The score was composed by Sonny Sharrock and Eddie Horst, the latter of whom was also the musical director. The musicians were Sharrock, Lance Carter, Horst, and Alfrieda Gerald.
