Filming

The TV ratings weren't allowed to be exact, so they all had to be slightly altered.

Music

The music was composed by Michael Kohler.

Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: April 25, 2004 on Adult Swim (Cartoon Network)

Behind the scenes

  • The episode title is a play on "The Devil made me do it."
  • Harvey alludes to the Evil Knievel connection by calling Devlin Knevlin.
  • The Prostitutes of the Caribbean ride is a parody of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean ride, although has become much more popular as a film series, which started in 2003, a year before this episode aired.
  • One of the places on the map ends with Ferguson-Hull named after the director.
  • Cleveland died a month after this episode aired. She was replaced by Paget Brewster in "Grodin."
  • Seal was also replaced by Delisle in "Grodin," as he quit acting a year after this episode.
  • Ouweleen, Richter, and Ferguson-Hull provide audio commentary for this episode on DVD releases. There is also a second audio commentary from the standards and legal side with James Bagley, Lorraine Lavender, and Evan W Adler.
