"Monkey See, Doggie Do" is the first episode (part one) of The Powerpuff Girls. It aired on November 18, 1998 on Cartoon Network. It was written by Jason Butler Rote and Michael Ryan, and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and creator, Craig McCracken.
Mojo plans to rule the planet by turning the world's population into obedient dogs.

Behind the scenes
- The episode title is a play on the phrase, "Monkey see, monkey do." You're welcome.
- The Powerpuff signal is a reference to the Bat Signal used in the world of DC Comics' Batman.
- This is the first time the Narrator is teased to be a real person.
- The movie theater has a film advertised called Clobbered.
- There are dogs playing poker just like the painting Dogs Playing Poker.
- It's interesting that in Ms. Bellum's first appearance, that her face is shown, only it's in dog form. A running joke is that her usual human face is blocked from being seen.
Errors
- While the Mayor's transformation into a dog was seen, it's unclear if the bottom half of Ms. Bellum would've transformed into a dog.
