  • The episode title is a play on the phrase, "Monkey see, monkey do." You're welcome.
  • The Powerpuff signal is a reference to the Bat Signal used in the world of DC Comics' Batman.
  • This is the first time the Narrator is teased to be a real person.
  • The movie theater has a film advertised called Clobbered.
  • There are dogs playing poker just like the painting Dogs Playing Poker.
  • It's interesting that in Ms. Bellum's first appearance, her face is shown, only it's in dog form. A running joke is that her usual human face is blocked from being seen.
